๐Ÿ”’ Your Photos Are Private

Here's exactly how we protect them

๐Ÿ—‚ Your photos are stored privately

Your photos are stored in a private, encrypted Amazon S3 bucket. They are not publicly accessible โ€” only you can see them through your account. Access is restricted and protected using industry-standard security measures.

๐Ÿค– Technology that works for you, not on you

Our system uses Amazon Rekognition to detect and analyze faces in your photos for the purpose of generating labels and organizing your photos. This processing is fully automated. Amazon's policy prohibits using customer data to train or improve their software without explicit consent.

๐Ÿ‘ Limited staff access

Your photos are not routinely viewed by FacesRemembered staff. Access is limited and may occur only when necessary for system maintenance, security, or legal compliance. The process is otherwise fully automated.

๐Ÿ™‹ You're in control

You can delete any photo at any time. When you delete a photo, it is removed from active systems promptly and permanently deleted from our storage systems within a reasonable period, including backups. If you close your account, all your photos and face data are deleted.

๐Ÿšซ We don't sell your data

We don't sell, share, or license your photos or any data derived from them to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. We do not use your photos to train machine learning models.

๐Ÿ“‹ Who handles your data

The only third-party services that touch your photos are:

No other third parties have access.
