Here's exactly how we protect them
Your photos are stored in a private, encrypted Amazon S3 bucket. They are not publicly accessible — only you can see them through your account. No one at Faces Remembered can browse your photos.
We use Amazon Rekognition to detect and recognize faces in your photos. Amazon's policy prohibits using customer data to train or improve their AI models without explicit consent. Your photos are processed and the results returned — that's it.
Your photos are never reviewed, moderated, or seen by any Faces Remembered staff or third parties. The entire process is automated.
You can delete any photo at any time and it is permanently removed from our storage. If you close your account, all your photos and face data are deleted.
We don't sell, share, or license your photos or any data derived from them to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
The only third-party services that touch your photos are:
No other third parties have access.
